Refund & Cancellation Policy

The short version: If you’re not satisfied with the copy delivered in your first month, I’ll refund your payment in full — no questions asked, no awkward back-and-forth. My work either earns your business or it doesn’t. That’s the deal.

1. The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Every new retainer client is protected by a 30-day, 100% money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the copy delivered during your first month of service, contact me within 30 days of your payment and I will issue a full refund — no questions asked.

This guarantee exists because I am confident in the quality of my work. If the copy I deliver doesn’t meet your expectations, you should not pay for it. Simple as that.

2. What the Guarantee Covers

The 30-day guarantee applies to:

  • Monthly retainer clients — first month only
  • Standalone copywriting projects where the deliverable has been received
  • Any situation where you feel the work delivered did not meet the agreed scope

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under the 30-day guarantee, email me at shopetefy@gmail.com with the subject line “Refund Request” within 30 days of your payment date. I will process your refund within 5–7 business days back to your original payment method.

No lengthy forms. No interrogation. I’ll process it promptly.

4. Cancellation Policy — Monthly Retainer

There are no long-term contracts. The retainer is a month-to-month arrangement and you may cancel at any time.

To cancel your retainer:

  • Email shopetefy@gmail.com with at least 14 days notice before your next billing date
  • Your current month of service will be completed in full
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed

Cancellations requested less than 14 days before the next billing date may result in one additional month being charged, as work for that month will already be in progress or planned.

5. Standalone Project Refunds

For standalone copywriting projects (outside of the retainer), refunds are handled as follows:

  • Before work begins: Full refund issued within 5 business days
  • After the first draft is delivered: Refund is at my discretion based on the work completed
  • After final delivery and approval: No refund, as the project is considered complete

In all cases, if there is a genuine dispute about quality or scope, I will work with you in good faith to find a fair resolution — including revisions, partial refunds, or credit toward future work.

6. Revisions Are Always Included

Before requesting a refund, please note that unlimited revisions are included in every project and retainer month. If something isn’t right, the first step is always to request a revision. I will keep working on the copy until you’re satisfied — refunds are a last resort, not a first response.

7. What Is Not Refundable

  • Work completed and approved by the client in writing
  • Refund requests made after 30 days from the original payment date
  • Situations where the client has changed the project scope significantly after work has begun
